Motorised 3-Way High & Low Leg
These electrically operated mechanisms allow the user to select any position between the closed and fully reclined position at the touch of a button. The seat and back are constructed as separate units and when operated the footrest raises and the seat and back recline in unison to the TV position and can be stopped at any interim opposition by releasing the button. If the button is held the independent back breaks away from the seat after TV position to give a fully reclined lying position.
The mechanisms are powered by a single low voltage (24V) linear actuator with a comfortable handset, which is detachable for added safety to prevent misuse and possible operation from unsupervised children.
For added safety the footrest bracket is spring loaded at all four corners which allows the footrest to pull away from the seat and arms if something becomes trapped upon closing.
Motorised 3-Way High Leg – 8550 Model
The standard model has a tuck under footrest extension and requires the chair to be raised off the floor on legs at least 20cm high.
Motorised 3-Way High Leg – 8546 Prestige Model
The Prestige model does not have the tuck under footrest and needs only to be raised off the floor by 10 cm. This is an advantage if the design requires short legs or traditional 'bun feet'.
3 – Way Low Leg Motorised – 8389 Model
The 3 – Way Low Leg Motorised Mechanism allows the chair to built close to the floor and has all the features and functions of the above motorised mechaniss.
