Motorised Wallhuggers
The mechanism performs and operates essentially as its manual counterpart, except for the fact that it is operated electrically into an any position between closed and full recline with a two button handset. The entire chair including arms, seat and back move forward in unison to allow the chair to be placed close to a wall before operation, hence the name 'wallhugger'.
The mechanism is powered by a low voltage (24V) linear actuator and a comfortable handset, which is also available with a detachable option for added safety to prevent misuse.
The Motorised Wallhugger is available in several seat widths and can also be incorporated into two and three seater sofas.
